Nevada County Public Health, in collaboration with the Tahoe Truckee Suicide Prevention Coalition, The Speedy Foundation, and a number of Truckee-based partners, will be hosting a Know the Signs suicide prevention training. The training will focus on resources for Eastern Nevada County, CA but will also have general suicide prevention content and resources applicable to everyone. Participants will learn about the warning signs of suicide, how to engage with someone they're concerned about and resources available to help people experiencing thoughts of suicide. The training is free and open to the public. Spanish interpretation is available.
