Notes of HOPE

Join us for an inspiring day of postcard design at Dark Horse coffee.

Notes of HOPE is a project that was started by Robby Borders. Robby has been impacted by bullying and suicide throughout his life. These experiences have motivated him to display a positive message on a sign that he holds on the street of Park City, UT for anyone passing by. While not everyone can stand on the corner of the street holding a sign like Robby has done, everyone can send a greeting card to reach out and remind people that they are important.

Robby has been working with volunteers to expand his message by designing greeting cards which helps build human contact and meaningful relationships. Volunteers are welcome to take the cards they make or they can donate the decorated cards back to help fundraise for "Smile, You are Beautiful" dog tags, stickers, signs, and travel expenses as Robby travels the country speaking to youth and sharing his message.

Shannon Decker, LMU Class of 2005, will be on site for the project. She is the executive director and co-founder of The Speedy Foundation, which works to promote mental health education and advocate for suicide prevention.
